JENIN, June 2, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities ordered on Saturday a halt on the construction of a school in the village of Mreiha, near the town of Ya’bad in Jenin district, in northern West Bank, local sources said.
Samer Abu Bakr, mayor of Ya’bad, told WAFA that Israeli forces confiscated the working equipment from the site where the school was being built and ordered the construction to stop, for lacking an Israeli construction permit.
He said the municipality of Ya’bad is determined to continue the construction of the school despite of the Israeli order.
