RAMALLAH, May 31, 2018 (WAFA) – The Israeli authorities issued between May 21 and 31 administrative detention orders against 29 Palestinians, Palestinian Prisoner’s Society attorney Mahmoud Halabi said on Thursday.
He said eight of the orders were issued against Palestinians detained for the first time or were re-arrested after being released.
Some 500 Palestinian administrative detainees in Israel are planning to go on hunger strike next month in an attempt to put an end to this world-condemned Israeli policy that lets Israel keep Palestinians in prison for many years without charge or trial.
