RAMALLAH, May 23, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teenager who was shot and critically wounded by Israeli soldiers last week in Ramallah died on Wednesday of his wounds, according to the Ministry of Health.
It said Odai Akram Abu Khalil, 15, from the village of Ein Sinia, north of Ramallah, was shot in the abdomen eight days ago during clashes with Israeli soldiers at the northern entrance to Ramallah.
He was first taken to Ramallah hospital where he was reported in critical condition before he was transferred to a hospital in Nablus where he died, said the ministry.
A total of 118 Palestinians, including 14 minors and one woman, were shot and killed by Israeli soldiers since March 30 when Palestinians launched the Great March of Return protests at the Gaza border with Israel. More than 10,000 were injured, many were in critical condition.
