Foreign ministry welcomes South Africa’s position on Gaza

RAMALLAH, May 16, 2018 (WAFA) – The ministry of foreign affairs and expatriates Wednesday welcomed South Africa‘s decision to withdraw its ambassador to Tel Aviv in response to the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its massacres against the defenseless Palestinian in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry commended the decision of South Africa for being a means of pressure and a wake-up call to the international community for urgent and immediate action in order to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.

It called upon all countries to adhere to their humanitarian and moral position that rejects all forms of racism, oppression, aggression and occupation.
