Security Council to hold emergency session on Tuesday about Palestine

 

NEW YORK, May 14, 2018 (WAFA) – Permanent observer of the State of Palestine to the UN Riyad Mansour Monday said the Security Council will hold an emergency session about Palestine on Tuesday morning.

He said the Arab Troika, which includes Saudi Arabia, head of the Arab group this month, Kuwait, Arab member of the Security Council, the Arab League and the State of Palestine requested Poland, President of the Security Council, to hold an emergency session as soon as possible.

The session will discuss the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem and the killing of Palestinian protesters in the Gaza Strip
