RAMALLAH, May 14, 2018 (WAFA) – A 17-year-old Palestinian was shot and injured on Monday during clashes with Israeli forces in the village of Deir Nitham, to the west of the city of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They said the teenager was shot in the leg during the clashes that broke out between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers on a main street near the village in protest against US embassy relocation from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Tension in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip is high as the US prepares to open its embassy in Jerusalem on Monday.
