RAMALLAH, May 13, 2018 (WAFA) – The government’s spokesman Yousef al-Mahmoud condemned on Sunday the raising of the Israeli flag by Israeli fanatics inside al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, slamming it as a provocation of Arab sentiments.
Al-Mahmoud commented on the provocative tour by around 400 Israeli settlers to al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning, saying the day in which settlers raise the flag of Israel inside al-Aqsa compound is a “black day”.
“What the settlers have done is a heinous crime against our people, our nation, our sanctities and our history,” al-Mahmoud said in a statement.
