JERUSALEM, May 10, 2018 (WAFA) – The Israeli authorities Thursday confiscated a privately-owned Palestinian land in the occupied East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya, claiming the confiscation was for public use purposes, according to local sources.
Witnesses told WAFA that staff from the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem accompanied by Israeli police handed the Palestinian owner of the land a notice informing him of the decision to seize his land because it will be used for “public use.”
