RAMALLAH, May 5, 2018 (WAFA) – Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Ahmad Majdalani, said on Saturday that the PLO Executive Committee will start meetings on Sunday to look into restructuring the departments of the PLO and the relationship with the government.
Majdalani told the official Voice of Palestine radio that the PLO Executive Committee is committed to executing the resolutions of the Palestinian National Council at all levels, which requires a specific and clear working mechanism.
On Friday, the Palestinian National Council (PNC), Palestine’s parliament in exile, ordered the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee to suspend its recognition of Israel pending the latter’s recognition of the State of Palestine based on the 1967 borders.
