Weather: Cloudy with drop in temperature

 

RAMALLAH, May 5, 2018 (WAFA) –Temperature significantly drops on Saturday to reach its annual average with partially cloudy skies and southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active wind and low to medium sea waves, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Temperature is expected to reach a high in the mid to upper 20s in most of the West Bank and Gaza Strip with the exception of the Jordan Valley where hot conditions prevail with temperature in the upper 30s. A low is expected in the mid to upper teens in most of the West Bank and low to mid-20s in the coastal areas and Jordan Valley.

On Sunday, cloudy skies are also expected with a rise in temperature to become two degrees Celsius above the annual average. However, rain, thunderstorms and hail are expected during the night in some areas.

A drop in temperature is expected for Monday to become three degrees Celsius below average and rain, thunderstorms and hail expected in most areas in Palestine.

Another drop in temperature is expected for Tuesday to reach five degrees below average with rain, thunderstorms and hail continuing on most areas.
