Suffocation cases in clashes in Ramallah, Hebron

 

RAMALLAH, May 4, 2018 (WAFA) – A number of protesters suffocated from teargas inhalation and a paramedic was shot and injured in the foot by Israeli forces on Friday during clashes at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city, in the central West Bank, according to local sources.

A paramedic of the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) was reportedly hit by a rubber-coated steel round and injured in his foot while he was providing first aid to suffocating protesters at the scene of the clashes.

Clashes also erupted in the city center of Hebron city, in southern West Bank, during which the Israeli forces fired teargas to disperse the protesters, causing many cases of suffocation.
