GAZA, May 3,2018 (WAFA) - A 19-year-old Palestinian youth identified as Anas Shawqi from Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City died on Thursday of wounds he sustained during protest along Gaza borders on Friday, according to medical sources.
Medical sources at Shifa Hospital told WAFA that the youth succumbed to his critical wounds after he was shot by Israeli snipers to the southeast of Gaza City.
Death of Shawqi raises to 45 the number of Palestinians killed since March 30, the start of the weekly Great Return March protests along the Gaza border with Israel. Almost 6000 were also injured, many of them in critical condition.
