Weather: Hot, dry conditions

 

RAMALLAH, May 3, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy, hot, dry and dusty with a rise in temperature becoming six degrees Celsius above the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southeasterly to northeasterly, light to active and sea waves are low.

Weather at night is partially cloudy to clear and warm in most areas.

Temperature on Thursday during the day is expected to reach the low to mid-20s in the central West Bank and the upper 20s to low 30s in the coast and Jordan Valley. Temperature drops at night to the low to mid-20s in Palestine in general.

The PMD also predicted weather on Friday to be very hot, dry and dusty. Temperature is expected to rise, approaching eight degrees Celsius above the annual average.

Weather on Saturday is partially cloudy with a significant drop in temperature to be around the annual average.

Partially cloudy skies are expected on Sunday while temperature rises to become two Celsius above its annual average.

The PMD warned against direct exposure to sunlight during high day hours between 11 in the morning and four in the afternoon.
