RAMALLAH, April 30, 2018 (WAFA) - Head of the American Federation of Ramallah, Hanna Hanania, Monday stressed the importance of convening the national council in affirming the Palestinian national constants in light of conspiracies being carried out against the Palestinian cause.

In an interview with Palestine TV, Hanania said, “we were hoping for the participation of all Palestinian factions  in order to rearrange the Palestinian internal house,” which he stressed, is an important Palestinian demand.

He said the American federation has decided to hold its upcoming convention in the city of Ramallah, despite of efforts made to urge us not to hold it there in light of the latest developments.

He said around 1500-2000 of the federation members in the US will participate in the upcoming convention; which will focus on economic aspects in an aim to increase investments in Palestine, as well as on cultural and political aspects in order to activate the work of young people in the American society, stressing that the American arena is an important arena for the Palestinian struggle.

He said work is underway for the formation of a Palestinian lobby to counter challenges facing Palestinians in Washington.
