JENIN, April 30, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teenager Monday was shot and injured and a number others suffocated after inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces during an Israeli military raid into the town of Jaba’a to the south of Jenin, in occupied West Bank.
Local sources told WAFA Israeli forces stormed the town in the pre-noon hours, provoking residents and spurring clashes between them.
Forces used rubber-coated steel bullets, and tear gas canisters against the locals, shooting and injuring a 15-year –old boy in the foot. The teenager was detained by the forces despite his injuries.
Several locals also suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
Forces further raided and searched a number of homes in the area and seized two bulldozers belonging to a local resident. No further arrests were reported.
