AMMAN, April 26, 2018 (WAFA) – The General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development elected the State of Palestine on Thursday as head of the organization’s Executive Council for the years 2018-2019.
As a result of the election, said the Ministry of Agriculture, Minister of Agriculture Sufian Sultan will be chairing the meetings of the AOAD Executive Council during the next two years.
AOAD was established in 1970 to coordinate the different policies in agriculture, natural and human resources as well as economic development of the Arab countries, in order to achieve the ultimate goal of a fully integrated Arab economy.
