RAMALLAH, March 28, 2018 (WAFA) - United States Ambassador to Israel David Friedman sent a message of clear threat to Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas in an unprecedented move.
According to the Israeli channel 10, Friedman said in an intreview with a weekly newspaper, that, “If Abbas is not interested in holding negotiations, I’m sure someone else will want to. If Abbas creates a vacuum, I am convinced that someone will fill it – and then we will move forward [with the peace process].”
Channel 10 reporter said Friedman‘s threat is similar to that of former US President Goerge Bush to late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat before he was fatally poisoned.
