RAMALLAH, March 22, 2018 (WAFA) - President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, arrived in Ramallah on Thursday on an official visit.

The Bulgarian president, who is on his first visit to Palestine since taking office in 2017, laid wreath at the grave of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat upon arrival at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.

President Mahmoud received his Bulgarian counterpart in an official welcoming ceremony. After inspecting the honor guard and shaking hand with officials, the two leaders started talks.

A press conference is scheduled in the afternoon before President Radev leaves Ramallah.
