JENIN, March 20, 2018 (WAFA) – At least five Palestinians sustained rubber-coated steel bullet wounds during clashes with Israeli forces in the town of Burqin to the west of Jenin, said WAFA correspondent.
The clashes reportedly broke out after Israeli soldiers and undercover units cordoned off one of the locals’ houses and detained a youth who was identified as 26-year-old Rami Ghanem, leading to violent clashes.
Forces fired rubber baton rounds and tear gas canisters at locals, injuring at least five by rubber bullets.
The injured were transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
