RAMALLAH, March 14, 2018 (WAFA) - The overall consumer price index (CPI) for Palestine during February slightly decreased by 0.05% compared with January, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Wednesday.
The decrease was by 0.27% in Gaza Strip and by 0.22% in Jerusalem, while it slightly increased by 0.06% in the West Bank.
The Palestinian CPI during February decreased by 0.94% compared with February 2017, a decrease by 1.59% in the West Bank, by 0.44% in Jerusalem, and by 0.37% in Gaza Strip.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for February are traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
