RAMALLAH, March 21, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained on Tuesday 17 Palestinians, including a woman and member of the Palestine Legislative Council, during raids across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner‘s Society (PPS).

In Hebron district, south of the West Bank, IOF detained a woman identified as Tamara Zain and her son, Mukhles Najjar, 16 years old, from the town of Yatta.

IOF also detained two Palestinians from the nearby town of Dahiriya, including Mohammad Ismail Tall, a member of the Palestine Legislative Council.

IOF also reportedly detained four Palestinians from Jenin area, north of the West Bank, two each from Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Salfit and Ramallah.

Israeli police also detained a Palestinian from occupied East Jerusalem.
