RAMALLAH, March 19, 2017 (WAFA) – Palestinian Government spokesperson Tareq Rishmawi said on Sunday the removal of the report of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia committee regarding Israel’s racist policies encourages Israel to move on with its occupation, murder, oppression, settlement and apartheid.

The Palestinian government denounced the removal of the report, which accused Israel of apartheid, emphasizing Israel’s continuous imposition of the apartheid regime upon the Palestinians in the occupied territories.

Rishmawi praised the humanitarian position of Dr. Rima Khalaf, who resigned from her post as UN ESCWA Executive Secretary upon removal of the report.
