CAIRO, March 18, 2017 (WAFA) - Palestinian Ambassador in Egypt Jamal al-Shobaky said on Saturday that President Mahmoud Abbas will visit Egypt Sunday where he will hold talks with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi.
The Ambassador said in a press statement that President
Abbas was officially invited by Sisi to visit Cairo for a round
discussions that will held Monday over the recent developments on the
Palestinian and Arab arenas.
President Abbas is keen to hold talks with the Egyptian president
about the Palestinian cause ahead of the Arab Summit meeting to be held
in Amman later this month, al-Shobaky said.
He added that President Abbas will brief the Egyptian president on
his recent talks with the US Administration, especially the
discussions about the Palestinian commitment to two-state solution as well
as pushing forward with the idle political process.
