Israeli forces ransack homes, set up checkpoints in Hebron

HEBRON, February 28, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday raided several houses and structures in the city of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, security sources said.

Israeli soldiers broke into a printing house in al-Salam Street in Hebron and ransacked several houses, and a Palestinian was notified to appear before the Israeli intelligence.

Soldiers arriving in jeeps set checkpoints at the northern entrances of the city of Hebron as well as the entrance of the village of Sa’ir. Soldiers inspected drivers and their vehicles, causing traffic jam in the area.

Another checkpoint was set up near al-Rayyan mosque, where several Palestinian were briefly held for inspection.
