GENEVA, February 27, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Monday met with the Danish minister of Foreign Affairs Andres Samuelsen to discuss political developments on the sidelines of the 34th United Nation Human Rights Council session in Geneva.
Abbas briefed Samuelsen on the latest developments concerning the Palestinian Israeli conflict as well as Israeli violations of Palestinians’ human rights.
He also discussed means to build on the bilateral relations between the two countries.
During his speech in the UNHRC session, Abbas called on world states to defend the two-state solution to safeguard the future of a Palestinian state.
