RAMALLAH, February 27, 2017 (WAFA) – The Israeli Ofer military court sentenced six Palestinian detainees to jail time as well as a financial fine, said the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in a statement on Sunday.
PPS said six Palestinian prisoners were sentenced to several months in prison and a fine that varied from one prisoner to another.
According to statistics by PPS and Human Rights Association, the total number of Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons is 6,500, with 536 of them being administrative detainees, 300 minors and 53 females.
