RAMALLAH, February 16, 2017 (WAFA) - Weather on Thursday remains cold to very cold with a drop in temperature approaching eight degrees Celsius lower than its seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Snowfall is expected on mountains 1000 meters above sea level, while a chance of light snow is expected on mountains 900 meters above sea level.
Partially cloudy to clear skies and cold conditions are expected for Friday with rain and occasional thunderstorms and hail. Temperature is expected to rise but remains three degrees Celsius lower than annual average.
A rise in temperature is expected for Saturday with the end of the cold front.
The PMD warned citizens against frost formation on the roads during the early morning hours and low horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds and the formation of floods in low areas as well as gusty winds.
