RAMALLAH, January 28, 2017 (WAFA) – The Palestinian civil defense handled 59 incidents of fire and fallen objects mainly resulting from bad weather conditions, a civil defense statement said on Saturday.
The fire department was called to extinguish three car fires in al-Jib and Anata, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, as well as in the Ramallah neighborhood of Al-Masyoun.
Civil defense crews also dealt with several billboards that fell and blocked roads in various area of the West Bank as a result of gusty winds and heavy rain.
Crews also reported incidents where strong winds knocked down trees, electrical poles, water tanks and solar panels across the West Bank.
