HEBRON, December 19, 2016 (WAFA) – Police seized on Monday a 3000 year old Roman statue from a Hebron resident, police spokesman Loai Irzeikat told WAFA.
He said police received information that a resident in the old city was in possession of archeological artifacts.
After inspecting the person, he was found in possession of an ancient statue believed to be between 2500 and 3000 years old and goes back to the Roman period.
Police arrested the resident until further investigation, said Irzeikat.
