BETHLEHEM, December 8, 2015
(WAFA) – At least one Palestinian was injured with live ammunition during
clashes with Israeli troops, which erupted at the northern entrance of
Bethlehem, according to medical sources.
The Palestinian Red Crescent
(PRC) said a youth was injured with a live bullet in his leg, and was
transferred to nearby Beit Jala public hospital for medical treatment. The
youth’s injury was described as moderate.
Meanwhile, three other
Palestinians suffocated due to inhaling excessive teargas, which was used by
the Israeli military against Palestinian protesters at the scene.
At least 117 Palestinians,
including 25 children and four women, have been killed by Israeli fire since
the beginning of unrest in the West Bank early October 2015.
