JERUSALEM, January 5, 2015 – (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained early
Monday seven Palestinians from Jerusalem and Hebron, said WAFA correspondent
and security sources.
Israeli police raided Kafr ‘Aqab village to the north of Jerusalem,
triggering clashes with locals. During the clashes, police detained ‘Omar Abu
Sarah, 50.
The Israeli police raided overnight Al-Eizariya town to the
southeast of the city, where they detained Mohammad Abu Zeyad and Mohammad
al-Sennawi.
They also detained Amin ad-Dweik after breaking into and ransacking
his house in Bab Hatta neighborhood in the Old City.
Meanwhile in Hebron, Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods,
where they detained Saleh Da’oud, 19, Ahmad al-Zarou and Ra’ed al-Juneidi after
breaking into their families’ houses.
They also raided Adh-Dhahiriya town to the south of the city, set
up roadblocks at the entrances of Sa‘ir, Halhul and the northern entrance of
Hebron city, where they stopped and inspected vehicles with Palestinian
registration plates travelling along the ways and examined passengers’ ID cards.
