JORDAN VALLEY, September 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, heavily guarded by the Israeli occupation army, on Wednesday pursued Palestinian shepherds in the northern Jordan Valley.

Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh said that a group of colonists pursued the shepherds west of the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.

In a later development, the occupation forces detained Anwar Jamil Sawafta and his son Muhannad while they were grazing sheep west of Bardala.

The region has been witnessing a dangerous escalation in attacks carried out by colonists, including physical assaults, theft of livestock, and the destruction of Palestinian propriety.
