RAMALLAH, May 28, 2014
(WAFA) – Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Qaraqe’ said that three prisoners,
who have been on an open-ended hunger strike protesting their
unjust administrative detention in Israeli jails, were transferred to
hospital following grave deterioration in their health conditions.
To be noted, hundreds of
Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails have been on an open-ended hunger strike
for 35 consecutive days now to protest the illegal practices against them by
the Israeli Prison Service, on top of which are administrative detention,
solitary confinement and prohibition of family visits.
