BETHLEHEM, June 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Saturday attacked employees of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company while they were carrying out maintenance work in the village of Wadi Rahhal, south of Bethlehem.
According to Palestinian security sources, a group of colonists assaulted the workers during their duties in the area, causing minor injuries to several employees and inflicting significant damage on their vehicle.
The incident comes amid a recent increase in attacks by colonists against Palestinian civilians and their property across various parts of the occupied West Bank.
Recent incidents have included the destruction of irrigation water networks, attacks on vehicles, attempted vehicular assaults, and efforts to prevent shepherds from accessing grazing lands.
