Slovakian Foreign Minister reiterates unwavering support for Palestinian Question

KUALA LUMPUR, April 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Juraj Blanár, affirmed on Wednesday his country’s unwavering position in support of the Palestinian cause.

Slovakian Foreign and European Affairs Minister, Blanár, made his remarks during a meeting with Palestinian ambassador to Malaysia, Jehad Al-Qudra, on the sidelines of his participation in the exhibition on the Bašagić Collection of Islamic manuscripts.

The Slovakian top diplomat affirmed his country’s solidarity with the Palestinian people amid the difficult humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the serious developments in the occupied West Bank.

He stressed that the optimal path lies in resuming negotiations and adhering to the two-state solution in a manner conducive to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
