RAMALLAH, April 8, 2026 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the Ministry said that this war has impacted security and peace in the Middle East region, as the Israeli occupation authorities have exploited it to escalate their crimes against Palestinian people and their rights, as well as against Islamic and Christian holy sites.
The Ministry called for the ceasefire to include the occupied Palestinian territory, an end to the genocide in the Gaza Strip, and an end to the crimes and attacks perpetrated by the occupation forces and colonists' terrorism in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
