RAMALLAH, March 30, 2026 (WAFA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the illegal Israeli's decision to seize 15 Palestinian homes in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem and forcibly displace their residents , paving the way for their transfer to colonist organizations.

In a statement, the General Secretariat warned of the grave consequences of these illegal measures, which constitute an escalation of the ethnic cleansing and forced displacement policies practiced by the Israeli occupation authorities. These policies aim to alter the Arab identity, the Palestinian presence, and the demographic composition of occupied East Jerusalem.

The General Secretariat affirmed that all Israeli occupation decisions, annexation and settlement plans, and attempts to impose purported Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank are null and void and have no legitimacy under international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

The OIC also reiterated its call upon the international community, and in particular the UN Security Council, to uphold its responsibilities and halt all violations and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory.
