BRUSSELS, March 10, 2026 (WAFA) – The European Union said on Tuesday that the level of violence carried out by Israeli colonists in the West Bank is unacceptable.
In a statement by its spokesperson, the EU said that since February 28, six Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank as a result of settler attacks. Several communities have also come under assault, with property damaged and livelihoods destroyed, forcing residents to flee their homes and leaving them without shelter.
The European Union called on Israeli authorities to take immediate and effective measures to prevent further attacks against Palestinian civilians and to ensure accountability for such acts. It warned that impunity in such cases could fuel further violence.
The EU also urged the Israeli government to fulfill its obligations under international law to protect the Palestinian population in the occupied territories.
