JEDDAH, March 8, 2026 (WAFA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the ongoing crimes of murder, incitement, settlement expansion, and organized terrorism perpetrated by extremist settler gangs, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. These crimes resulted today in the martyrdom of several Palestinian citizens and the injury of others in several villages in the occupied West Bank.

The General Secretariat affirmed that this heinous crime is an extension of the systematic crimes of the Israeli occupation, based on policies of displacement, annexation, and settlement construction, and attempts to impose alleged Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territory, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and resolutions of international legitimacy.

The General Secretariat reiterated its call on the international community to intervene immediately to stop all ongoing Israeli crimes and violations in the Palestinian territories and to impose clear and deterrent sanctions on the Israeli colonial settlement enterprise.
