Jordan condemns colonists attacks on Palestinians and holds Israel responsible

AMMAN, March 8, 2026 (WAFA) – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the ongoing terrorist attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians, most recently the attack on the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, which resulted in the martyrdom of three Palestinians and the injury of others.

The Ministry held Israel, the occupying power, responsible for these attacks.

The Ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Fouad Majali, affirmed the Kingdom's absolute rejection and condemnation of these attacks and the escalating colonists terrorism against the Palestinian people. He described this as a reprehensible escalation and a further targeting of Palestinian civilians amidst dangerous and illegal Israeli measures in the occupied West Bank.

Majali called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to halt its escalation and colonists attacks, and guarantee the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent and sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, considering this the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace that guarantees security and stability in the region.
