BEIJING, March 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Sunday that the two-state solution is the only just and widely recognized solution to the Palestinian issue.
Wang added, during a press conference on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress, that any other arrangements or new mechanisms should strengthen the two-state solution, not undermine it.
He stressed that turmoil and war should not be the fate of the Palestinian people.
Wang noted that China, as a responsible major power, will continue to support the just Palestinian cause in its pursuit of its legitimate national rights and facilitate international efforts to restore justice for the Palestinian people.
