NABLUS, March 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed on Friday the main entrances to the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, according to local sources.
Mohammad Azem, head of the Sebastia Village Council, reported that Israeli bulldozers blocked three primary entrances to the town with earthen barriers, further restricting Palestinian traffic into and out of the village.
He added that a single entrance remains open for now, while it is unclear whether it will be closed later.
The closure comes amid ongoing restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation authorities across the West Bank, which continue to disrupt the daily life of residents, restrict movement, and exacerbate economic and social hardships.
