TEL AVIV, March 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Nine Israelis were killed and others were injured on Sunday in an Iranian missile attack on Israel.

Israeli media reported that an Iranian missile struck the Beit Shemesh area, killing nine people and injuring dozens more, including four in critical condition. The attack also caused extensive damage to residential buildings and left several people missing at the site.

Israel and the United States launched a military strike on Iran on Saturday morning, targeting facilities, ministries, and military leaders in Tehran, Tabriz (in East Azerbaijan province), Isfahan, and several other Iranian provinces.

Iran responded by launching ballistic missiles and drones into Israel, marking a renewed confrontation between the two countries since the last war, which began on June 13, 2015.
