AMMAN, February 25, 2026 (WAFA) – King Abdullah II of Jordan called for intensified international efforts to deliver humanitarian aid and medical supplies to Gaza without restrictions.
This came during the King's meeting on Wednesday with World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to discuss health priorities at the national and regional levels.
During the meeting, held at Basman Palace in Amman, the King emphasized the importance of expanding the partnership between Jordan and the WHO to serve national health objectives and enhance mechanisms for responding to health challenges.
