More than 19,000 travelers cross Al-Karama Crossing last week

RAMALLAH, February 20, 2026 (WAFA) – More than 19,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Karama Crossing last week, while police detained 38 individuals wanted by the judiciary.

A total of 8,579 people departed during the week, while 11,137 travelers arrived. Authorities described passenger movement as moderate.

During the same period, police detained 38 individuals wanted by the courts and prohibited from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or upon their arrival in the Palestinian territories. The individuals were wanted in cases pending before the courts and the Public Prosecution.

The police and all security and civil agencies within the General Administration of Crossings and Borders provided numerous facilities and services to all citizens, including coordinating the transfer of four patients between both sides of the crossing using Palestinian ambulances.
