ADDIS ABABA, February 14, 2026 (WAFA) – On the sidelines of the 39th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met on Saturday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti.
The meetings focused on the latest political developments and the situation in Palestine, efforts to consolidate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and implement its second phase, as well as measures to halt Israeli occupation actions in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
Mustafa praised the efforts of mediators in maintaining the Gaza ceasefire and enhancing the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Strip, while expressing appreciation for the support of Egypt, Tunisia, and the Arab states for the Palestinian cause in all international forums, including the African Union.
He emphasized the importance of continued joint coordination and intensified international action to halt Israeli occupation measures and colonists’ attacks in the West Bank, as well as all unilateral and illegal actions that undermine prospects for peace and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
