RIYADH, February 13, 2026 (WAFA) – The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mazen Ghoneim, stated that the initiative to launch a public donation campaign through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center reflects the Kingdom’s long-standing humanitarian approach, consistently upheld by its leadership, government, and people, in offering both official and popular support to the Palestinian people.
Ghoneim affirmed that this campaign, launched under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, embodies the depth of the Kingdom’s steadfast position toward the Palestinian cause and reflects its constant commitment to strengthening the resilience of the Palestinian people in the face of the humanitarian and economic challenges imposed by the Israeli occupation.
He emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support, through both official and humanitarian channels, serves as a vital pillar enabling the Palestinian people to remain steadfast on their land, and underscores the deeply rooted significance of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of the Saudi leadership and its brotherly people.
Ghoneim added that the launch of this campaign reflects the unity of both official and popular stances in the Kingdom toward Palestine, and reaffirms the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to its pioneering and strategic role in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, as well as its backing of efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
He stressed the pride of the State of Palestine, its leadership, and its people in the strong, historic, and brotherly ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the depth of these enduring bonds, the unity of destiny, and the ongoing coordination and joint action aimed at serving the interests of both peoples and promoting security and stability across the region.
