RAMALLAH, January 17, 2026 (WAFA) — President Mahmoud Abbas awarded today the Head of the Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, Zeng Jixin, the Friendship Star medal of the Order of President Mahmoud Abbas.
The award was presented during a farewell reception held on Saturday evening at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, marking the end of Zeng Jixin’s tenure in Palestine. The meeting was attended by Presidential Adviser for Diplomatic Affairs Majdi Al-Khaldi.
President Abbas conferred the Friendship Star in recognition of Zeng Jixin’s distinguished role in strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation between the State of Palestine and the People’s Republic of China, and in appreciation of his efforts in supporting the Palestinian people and advocating for their just cause to achieve freedom and independence.
