PM Mustafa highlights renewable energy, small and medium-sized enterprises, digital transformation, and Gaza reconstruction as key priorities

RAMALLAH, January 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa reviewed avenues to strengthen cooperation across a range of sectors, foremost renewable energy, small and medium-sized enterprises, digital transformation, and support for the implementation of plans for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

This came during his meeting on Tuesday with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso, at his office in Ramallah.

The meeting, attended by Minister of National Economy Mohammad Al-Amour, Minister of Finance and Planning Estephan Salameh, and Chairman of the Energy Authority, Engineer Ayman Ismail, also underscored the importance of mobilizing additional financial resources for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s investments, including grants or loans for the private sector to support water sector development and efficiency, as well as advancing digital transformation through technical assistance for the digitization of government services and electronic payment systems.
