RAMALLAH, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Presidency has welcomed the initiative and positive response of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the call made by President Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, to hold a comprehensive conference to discuss just solutions for the southern issue in Yemen.

In a statement on Saturday, the Palestinian Presidency affirmed that the unity, security, and stability of Yemen are fundamental pillars for the security and stability of the entire region.

The Presidency commended Saudi Arabia’s leading role in supporting the Yemeni legitimate government and facilitating the path for dialogue, calling on all stakeholders to engage positively and constructively in a manner that serves Yemen’s supreme interests, its people’s aspirations, and regional peace and stability.
